So he really was trying to kill me I told you...

..I guess it's not that funny now. I had the baby September 1, what a good day for a birthday. Joshua was 9lbs and 8oz. BIG healthy boy. I went in on the first at 6am to be induced. The nurse was getting me set up and was checking to see where I was dilated, and I started bleeding. She called in my Dr and they said I would have to have an emergency c-section. So Dr. R told my husband to call R and get him to the hospital. We had a great c-section delivery (just puked the whole time). I kept saying quick and painless for the delivery I should have been more specific. Joshua went to the nursery with R and I went to recovery. In recovery I started to hemorrhage my uterus wouldn't contract. They had to take me to emergency surgery embolism, they put in a 2 embolism's in the 2 main arteries leading to my uterus. I bled out 4000 mils of blood, they had to give me 12 units of blood transfusion and a bag of platelets and hemoglobin. I spent a day in ICU and a total of 5 days in the hospital. I am so grateful to the wonderful nurses and Dr's at Riverside Hospital for saving my life. For R it was all worth it and I am so glad that he was a healthy baby! ;D So no more babies for me and let me just tell you I am fine with that!

The latest

Went to the Dr's on Thursday for ultra sound again everything looks amazing. I am officially 11 weeks along now so soon I'll be off the meds. Next week is it. Ultra sounds are so much cooler now for as early along as I am you can really see so much detail. The little guy was waving and moving around all over the place. It's crazy that it's too early to feel all that you'd think I would notice it. Anyway the next visit will be a hows it going visit nothing too exciting. I'm feeling pretty good now and hope that whatever nausea I have been experiencing will wane soon and if it would stop snowmaggen-ing I would not feel compelled to shovel. I can't help it I have to get in my driveway... Anyway the driving is scarier than anything right now. Hurry up Spring!!!!

Our little scare....

So had to go to the ER on Saturday because I had a small blood clot. I almost didn't even say anything but then I got kinda worried so I called R and he was pretty positive it was a miscarriage. So I was freaking out, but the hospital said everything looked fine. Still it was nice to go into Dr R's office and see the little guy waving at me. Now breathing!! So we're back to normal, next visit will be a little past week 10 soon we'll be on our own no more RBA. Looking forward to that.

labs, labs and more labs

which really just means more bruises all over my arms... I told the stupid lady at LabCorp not to use the big ass needle to use the butterfly, but listen to me? nooooooooo....duh. So now we have to at least wait a whole week for me to heel a little for the nest blood draw. So far lab results have been incredible I think even negative Nancy (our RBA nurse who I think has been sure it's all going to go wrong) is shocked. Setting up an Ultra Sound next week. woohoo! We're like preggo, It's in there!

The results are in amigo....

and it looks good!! R said he got a call today from RBA and we're pregnant. Gotta go back in on Thursday just to make sure things are still good, but all looks great so far. I kept telling R I had a REALLY good feeling we were just fine. I was pretty sure when the other day at work Gary my coworker stop the door short and I spilled hot chocolate down my shirt ....and I cried....yeah, I was pretty sure then that I was pregnant. So are you ready for the longest 9 months of your life is the email I sent my manager. :D I do believe that she has a bet going on how cranky (being nice) I'm going to get. I think I'll be good........well maybe ;9
